Client Focus: Optimation Technology

January 2007/Rochester, NY -- Ardent was pleased to represent Optimation Technology in the recent lease of 18,000 SF of industrial space at 120 LeGrange Avenue, Rochester, NY from Shaheen Management.

Optimation is a provider of engineering and systems integration services for industrial and manufacturing applications. Optimation serves a variety of industry sectors for large and small clients throughout the US and the world.

The new space was leased on behalf of Optimation Industrial Services, a subsidiary of Optimation Technology, Inc. to fulfill a contract from Kodak. Optimation Industrial Services recently signed an agreement to purchase the capital engineering, capitalized maintenance and construction units of Kodak’s Global Manufacturing Technology Organization.
As part of this agreement, Optimation will acquire equipment and facilities essential to operating the units and providing capitalized maintenance and construction services. Also under the agreement, Optimation will be contracted by Kodak to provide services in these areas. Optimation plans to hire approximately 155 employees currently working in these groups.

Optimation is a nationwide leader in the design of automated processes and machines systems for the manufacturing industries.
